Recommended Posts

Vikestart    106

If you want to post a build that you would like us to consider adding to TSW Database's repository of builds, please post the build in this thread.

If you don't want to submit your build, but only share it with others here on the forums, make a new thread and choose the Build tag and prefix.

When you submit a build in this thread, please include:

  • Actives and Passives
  • Glyph budget
  • Signets
  • A VDM* import string

*VDM stands for Viper's Deck Manager, which is a UI mod. It lets you easily export and import decks with code strings. Including a VDM string is not mandatory, but it would be preferred. You can alternatively link to the build over at TSW-Builder.com.

Hey!

I am missing nightmare viable leech decks so i'd like to post the 2 most used DPS leech decks and one "safety" deck

---

First: Hammer Leech

VDM%-%6837251%-%6837799%-%6377895%-%6377941%-%6838807%-%6813204%-%7494892%-%7953242%-%6378211%-%6943080%-%7080596%-%6839136%-%6307518%-%6378206%-%6368910%-%7953647%-%8260145%-%8260155%-%8260158%-%8260008%-%8259992%-%8260010%-%8259974

This is a "burn it fast" - Leech deck with a lot of high hits for fast runs. Only usable with experienced groups, full group buff setup and is most effective in very short fights.

Suggested Rotation:

Anima Shot x5 -> Molten Steel -> Molten Steel -> Transfuse Anima -> Timber ->Transfuse Anima

If incoming DMG is light you can use the second Molten Steel with Full Momentum on Elemental Force and Slot Seel the Deal and Closer instead of Eagle Eye and Experience

Recommended Stats:

3600 Attack Rating 600 Heal Rating 650 Hit 800 Pen 600 Crit Power

You won't need much Crit Rating because you will have buffs most of the time so Laceration and Equilibrium will Procc nonetheless. Coney Island Band is seriously recommended.

Situational Abilities:

None - it's meant to burn a boss fast and it does exactly that. If it lives longer than 2 rotations this build is most certainly inferior to Fist-Leech. Not recommended against Lustrehunter (Hell Eternal 2) because you will probably kill yourself with over 40k hits.

How it works:

For maximum Effect cast Full Momentum when running to the fight so that it's ready to use when the fight starts but you have 5 Momentum Stacks going in. Use Stims running in (if the fight lasts longer than 20 seconds this is probably not the Build you want to use) and cast Energise with Do or Die after 5 builders:

Anima Shot x5

Energise

Do or Die

Molten Steel

Full Momentum

Molten Steel

Transfuse Anima (on Elemental Force)

Timber

Lock&Load

Transfuse Anima

If the Fight lasts longer fling in Full Momentum + Molten Steel, a (Anima Shot - Lock&Load - Transfuse Anima Anima Shot x5 - Transfuse Anima (on EF) Rotation or Timber whenever they are ready. If you want to take it to the extreme replace Experience and Eagle Eye as mentioned before and use Ambrosia for even greater Effect (this will heal even less so use only when tank gear and fight allow it):

Anima Shot x5

Energise

Do or Die

Molten Steel

Transfuse Anima

Full Momentum

Molten Steel (on Elemental Force)

Hammer ambrosia

Molten Steel

Timber

Lock&Load

Transfuse Anima

Doing it corectly will almost certainly out-dps your DPS Commerades if some of your Molten Steels CritPen and the Boss dies after your First Rotation.

Signets

Head: Laceration
Major: Violence
Minor: Execution
Assault Rifle: Abuse / Breaching
Hammer Focus: Aggression / Breaching

Leech Fist

VDM%-%6837251%-%6942572%-%6377895%-%6377941%-%6942579%-%6813204%-%7494892%-%7953242%-%6378211%-%6943080%-%7080596%-%6839136%-%6307518%-%6378206%-%6368910%-%7953647%-%8260145%-%8260162%-%8260158%-%8259992%-%8260008%-%8260010%-%8259974

This is my standard Leech Deck. It's best for all around Leeching since you can provide maximum healing as well as hight damage in short and long fights and it can be adjusted for nearly any fight with minimum Effort.

Suggested Rotation:

Anima Shot x6 - Tear 'em Up - Transfuse Anima - Timber

Suggested Stats:

3600 Attack Rating 600 Heal Rating 650 Hit 800 Pen 300 Crit Power 300 Crit Rating

I use Crit Rating on weapons. For more heal use an additional minor heal talisman.

Situational Abilities:

Fired Up

Useful if you need additional Group Healing (Machine Tyrant using Perjury or Slaughterhouse Endboss)

Anima Vessel

Exchange Lock&Load for Anima Vessel when group damage or shields are expected (Hell Raised Boss 1 and 5, Hell Eternal). It works better against shields than Reap and Sew because it doesn't heal your defensive target.

Reap and Sew

Use if you can't stand and trade using Do or Die and need some additional heal. Also use if the target has shields because Anima Vessel will not last long enough.

Death from Above

Use when Melee isn't viable and you have to relocate very often (Machine Tyrant)

Dragon's Breath

Use when you need to assist AoE Damage or if there are dangerous Add Phases (Flamethrower on Elemental Force using Reap and Sew)

How it Works:

Tear 'em Up can be used in the buff phase (or phases using Ambrosia) to provide a significant dps boost. Reckless will help your dps and heal even more, use on cooldown. If your Tank is in danger to die save Lock&Load for a "heavy heal rotation". Use Timber and buffs on CD in longer fights.

Anima Shot x5

Reckless

Tear 'em Up

Timber

Energise

Transfuse Anima (on elemental Force)

Anima Shot

Lock&Load

Transfuse Anima

Anima Shot x5

Transfuse Anima (on elemental Force)

Signets

Head: Laceration
Major: Violence
Minor: Execution, Thirst
Assault Rifle: Abuse / Breaching
Fist Focus: Aggression / Breaching

Leech Pistol (Beginner Leech Deck)

VDM%-%6837251%-%6942510%-%6377895%-%6377941%-%6942501%-%6813204%-%6815266%-%7760095%-%6378211%-%6378206%-%7080596%-%6839136%-%6943080%-%6861866%-%6307518%-%7760093%-%8260145%-%undefined%-%8260158%-%8259974%-%undefined%-%8260013%-%8260111

This is a beginner friendly Leech build intended to do maximum healing in harder fights like Ur-Draug by providing a lot of cooldowns. Should work with Drop Rifles and a major and minor heal talisman if the Tank is resilient enough.

Suggested Rotation:

Anima Shot x7 ->  Transfuse Anima

Recommended Stats:

2500 Attack Rating 1000 Heal Rating 650 Hit 600 Pen 250 Crit

Situational Abilities:

Anima Vessel

If group Damage is high use Anima Vessel (better than Veteran)

Win-Win

Adequate Group Heal with Cleanse, equip if nobody else wants to

How it works:

Just spam Anima Shot and use Transfuse Anima on Elemental Force. Use heavy Healing Rotation if the Tank drops hard or on every 2nd rotation for more dps and heal, alternate Cooldowns to improve healing.

Normal Rotation:

Anima Shot x7 (use Energise after 5 Builders)

Transfuse Anima (on Elemental Force)

Heavy Healing Rotation:

Anima Shot

Lock&Load

Anima Shot x5

Transfuse Anima (on Elemental Force)

Signets

Head: Laceration
Major: Violence, Amelioration
Minor: Execution, Thirst
Assault Rifle: Abuse / Breaching
Fist Focus: Aggression / Breaching

This is a relatively low cost, high reward solo pbaoe farming setup that you can use just about anywhere.  As of now it's devastating the Dimir Farm in Shadowy Forest killing Ghouls.

Skills:

Forking Paths
Clearing the Path
Piledriver
Martial Discipline
Stonewalled

Passives:

Fluid Defense
Bloodsport
Dark Potency
Arterial Pulse
Immortal Spirit
Sudden Return
Iron Maiden

You have 2 free slots of actives to-do whatever you want with.  You actually don't even need MD and Stone because the mobs die shortly after you use CP and PD in succession after building 5 resources with FP.

It currently only uses 410 AP and in the beginning of the game it's a really good starter to work toward so that you can easily farm for other skills and builds.  Beings it only costs 410 AP, it doesn't take a significant amount of time to get and allows you to pretty much use the entire rest of the game to unlock other skills once you have the required QL level of about 7-8 on your talismans to start farming Ghouls.

Weapon wise your QL should be at 8+ in swords to use a high level builder for the initial procs of affliction.  It also revolves around penetration, but with the added effects of potency and iron maiden you don't need a substantially high amount of penetration rating to achieve a penetrating hit 9/10 times.  Try to achieve a moderate amount of hit rating to avoid resetting Bloodsport.

Simple, fun, effective build for all skill levels of players.

If I've accidentally copied a build please feel free to inform me.  I am merely trying to post a low level build that you can use throughout the entire game effectively with minor adjustments to your actives.  Turn the Tables being added for survival, etc.

Good luck!  Happy hunting!

Before I forget again, here are a couple of the builds we've come up with in the build testing (post update 15.5) thread (and hopefully we aren't copying any older builds, because at this point there are so many out there in different places that it's hard to tell):

This one is by @Daedalus7.  It was originally inspired by Claretta's Pistol/Ele build.

Pistol/Blade (As he didn't name it, and someone was asking for a "Deadpool" build the other day in Sanctuary chat, let's call it...Maximum Effort?  'Cuz, you know, we don't want sued or anything.)

VDM%-%6942474%-%5780017%-%5780051%-%6942465%-%6453670%-%6452081%-%7080574%-%undefined%-%7094290%-%6943091%-%6943080%-%7080613%-%5777459%-%6307518%-%6942479%-%undefined

Link: http://www.tsw-builder.com/#18v831106104820802813135p530432421155110612836

This is a solo survival build that should take you up to and through Tokyo, and can be easily changed to add group support.  It requires 638 AP with Dancing Blade, and 675 if you replace it with Chop Shop.

"Maximum Effort":

Actives:

  1. Stunning Swirl
  2. Dancing Blade (can replace with Chop Shop)
  3. Hair Trigger
  4. Shootout
  5. Shake and Bake *
  6. Deadly Aim *
  7. Steel Echo *

* optionally can be replaced

Passives:

  1. Breakdown
  2. Third Degree
  3. Iron Maiden
  4. Finish the Movement
  5. Immortal Spirit
  6. Elemental Force
  7. Seal the Deal

This build is assuming QL10 purple, although it might work for QL10 blues.  It's designed to be relatively beginner friendly, and easy to customize for different situations.  Only the first 4 actives are mandatory for the build to work, so if you need more AOE, try swapping in Surging Blades and Trial By Swords with a couple of the optional actives.  If you need more on-demand healing and defense, try swapping in Martial Discipline, possibly with the Regeneration passive.  If you need cleanses, try swapping in Win-Win, and if you need more backup/group support, you can swap one of the optional actives for Backup Drone.

Rotation:  SS (applies "Vulnerable to Ranged") -> DB -> HT x 3 ->So -> DB -> HT x 3 -> So -> repeat from beginning.  Use other abilities as needed.

Thanks for posting!  I like the name.  :)  Two slight notes/corrections, though...

Trial By Swords isn't for AOE (it's single-target) but for more impair (I like for longer Tokyo/boss fights).

The other is that the rotation technically has a second Dancing Blade after the initial Stunning Swirl/Dancing Blade/builder sequence, so it's:

SS (VtR) --> (DB --> HT x3 --> DB) --> (SO --> HT x3 --> DB) --> (SO --> HT x3 --> DB) --> REPEAT

Note that the actives in parentheses make up 3 8-second intervals, plus the 1-second GCD for the initial Stunning Swirl gets you exactly to the 25-second cool down for SS.  I would also add that this build relies much more on PEN, so the Woodcutter's and any additional PEN gear is very helpful.  As a survival build, it also relies very heavily (derived from the original Claretta build) on the Signet of Thirst for heals.  This means that early on you should almost certainly swap in Martial Discipline/Regeneration and any other active heals you can get while you work towards building your gear.  Signet of Echoes/Signet of Thirst are a must, and personal preference for the rest for the most part.  I use Laceration on the head, Breaching on the sword, and Fury on the pistol.  Essentially over time, you'll be able to push more and more of your healing to things other than your Actives/Passives, giving you more room for building your DPS.  The Parasite Configuration from Tokyo container keys is really helpful.  I've only just learned about the Redirected Rejuvenation Module, which if I understand correctly does NOT proc Empowerment -- which I presume means it will not proc Thirst, either, but I should probably test anyway just to be sure.

Here's the Chaos/Rifle build I've been playing with for solo survival.  It's based around QL10.1ish stats.  Uh...I hadn't thought about a name, so...

"Discordant Lead"? :

VDM%-%7094276%-%7094274%-%6377845%-%6806479%-%7094285%-%7494903%-%7094277%-%undefined%-%7094290%-%6942580%-%6943080%-%7080607%-%7080605%-%6307518%-%6863509%-%undefined

Link: http://www.tsw-builder.com/#95v550552900920535g02546p530332421143141612636

Actives:

  1. Run Rampant *
  2. Consequence
  3. Safety Off
  4. Three Round Burst *
  5. Discord Rising
  6. Turn the Tables *
  7. Eye of Pandemonium

Passives:

  1. Breakdown
  2. Bloodsport *
  3. Iron Maiden
  4. Fortunate Strike *
  5. Elemental Force
  6. Sudden Return
  7. Live Wire

* replace situationally as needed

If you need AoE, you can replace Run Rampant with Escalation.  For more healing than Turn the Tables, replace Fortunate Strike with Circulation.  For even more healing, replace Three Round Burst with Transfuse Anima.  For more damage, replace Turn the Tables with Amor Fati.

I do priorities rather than rotations, so....

Use Discord Rising and Chaos hits to get Exposed to 10 stacks as quickly as possible.  Try to keep it there.

Bloodsport should ensure that Afflict is toggled the entire fight, as long as you don't glance.  It's not there for damage.  If you pen constantly, you might want to change that out for Third Degree, but that's up to you.

After using Eye of Pandemonium, you'll apply "Vulnerability to Ranged."  Take advantage of that to use your Rifle abilities.

Use healing and buffs as needed.

And thanks @Daedalus7 for correcting that.  Bad copy me.  9_9  Too many windows open at once.
